The Rescue Mission

"I don’t need more advice. I don’t need more stuff. I don’t need more social media.

I need a Savior.

And if I’m honest, that’s a little uncomfortable to admit.

Because I like to believe I can fix things.

If I just try harder. If I just get my act together. If I just make a better plan.

But sin is more than just what we do.

It’s something that separates us from God.

And no amount of effort on my part can fill or fix that problem.

That’s why Jesus came. That was the purpose of His rescue mission.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23

This is the week we remember that Jesus became a living sacrifice so that we could be separated from our sin and set aside for God.

He came to give us life.

If you’re feeling tired, stuck, or like you’ve been carrying too much for too long, you’re not alone.

Come worship with us this Sunday at Green River Alliance Church at 10:45 AM.

Pastor Kevin
